rotten apple

Um so I haven't updated my blog in a while. The electronics on the magsafe module in the apple I was using are messed up. I am trying to convince apple to send me the part to fix it but they are reluctant. It is not very easy to just send a laptop in from here for service. For all of you out there just waiting to blast apple, it was not an apple defect, I did some things with the power supply that no one should ever do, bypassing all reasonable safety measures. Well it caught up with me when I hooked up a firewire drive and poof the smoke got out. Things have been going well here. Just had josh for a visit which was good. Had a pretty sweet trip to the beach, even though I fell over on the motorcycle and we forgot towles... We worked on making a form for some concrete pillars for the fence around the hospital. Well I did some work in rob and anne maries house yesterday and got a new computer up and running which is nice since the old one was pretty slow. I may be able to do pictures for my blog from this one. I have been sick the last couple of days, think i have a minor ear infection, anyways got pretty dizzy. On another interesting note. I woke up the other night and it felt like there was something on my face, I brushed it off and turned on my petzle light and could find nothing. The second time I had my light ready and brushed off what I found to be a very large cockroach.... mmm... they can be pretty tasty when you haven't had much protein in a while :] Actually Josh left me with a ton of beef jerky and granola bars, Thanks Rebecca! I know the odds of Josh coming prepared like that on his own are pretty low :] So it has been pretty hot around here. Friday I laid down and just sweat all day. At first I thought it was because I was sick but I think it was just that hot. Next week I will be working on several solar systems... thieves make putting up solar systems here a lot of work. Have soccer today, but have moved it back to 4:50pm because of the heat. The sun is incredibly hot here. Pray that I would make the most of opportunities that I am given to share the gospel and show Christs love to people here. I will have a new roommate next week Lord willing. He is the son of a pastor here and is going to come live with me kind of as an apprentice. This will be interesting, I have not had a roommate since college. His name is Stanley, pray that we get along well :] I will try to put up some pictures later on. Well I miss you all.
