Has it been a month allready?
Why yes it has. Today I have been back in Haiti for a month. Time is flying by. I hope to post pictures soon. I have been preparing the shop site for the team my parents are bringing next week. They will be putting a roof on a shop building made from two containers. I am looking forward to seeing my parents and having them meet Annelies. Annelies and I have been taking care of a little child named Falenska who is one month old and weighs about 2.2 kilos now. She dropped to 1.9 kilos at one point. Please be praying for Falenska that she would be able to gain weight. Right now we take turns with a French couple for the night shift with Falenska. She has to eat about every hour to hour and a half at night. So I split the night with Annelies I take 9pm till 2am and she takes 2am till 6am. It can be a little tiring but the French couple Jak and Issabell take every other night so that we can get a full nights sleep. She is hovering at 2.2 kilos right now but we hope that will change soon. Her mother loves her very much which is encouraging to see. Mike the guy I have been working with has been staying up high in the mountains with a Haitian family a 2:45 hike one way. My Kreole is getting a lot better and I feel as though I can speak freely with the Haitian people now. I enjoy talking with the Haitian people these days, they are fun to talk to and it is interesting to see their perspective. I have been learning a little dutch word by word, although I think my English grammar has been suffering as of late. Well I will be coming home soon to finish the documentary. I will miss Haiti and also Annelies a little too :] But she will come out to visit soon. This time in Haiti has been well spent and I am getting to the stage where I can start to evaluate how I want to minister here in Haiti long term. Well I will see most of you, minus josh and rebecca and caleb soon :] Please be praying that I make use of every oportunity to show Gods love to those around me. Also be praying for Annelies and I that we would glorify God in our relationship. Also please pray for Falenska and Rob and Anne Marie. Thank you, Dustin
