I am back for 3 months

I am back home for three months. It has been a busy month and a half in Haiti. I am back in the United States to finish up a documentary about the City of Turlock which will help to fund my stay in Haiti. So there is much to tell. Most of you know about Annelies already. Things continue to go well with her although it is difficult being in separate countries. If anyone has the inside scoop on phone cards please let me know. The Cheapest legitimate way to call Haiti that I have found is 26 cents per minute.
In other news Falenska has hit 2.5 kilos today! Here are some earlier pictures of her. Work in Haiti has consisted of pouring a roof on the guards house for the hospital guest house and preparing for the team from California. The team from California came to build and install trusses for the roof of the hospital shop and do some much needed maintenance on Rob's vehicles. The week the team was here was pretty busy. The crew that came was very talented though and the work was done on time. Lifting the trusses into place was quite an adventure as we had no crane. CD came up with the brilliant idea of parking the tractor inside the trailer as seen in the picture. We managed to get the trusses up and welded in place though. I just heard that they had a lot of rain last night and this morning. Which is good! I am not sure if it is soon enough to save the crops for the animals but I hope so. Switching from working in Haiti to working on the documentary has been hard, going from something mostly manual labor to something mostly mental. But it is all coming back and I think I will be
